Kosit Kaewkangwal is a well known hybridizer out of Thailand, and we don't get to see much of his stuff here in the US. If you look at his photos of this cross, it's a truly majestic plant with long, slender, curly leaves that recurve and cascade down beyond the base of the plant and a large showy inflorescence. As is typical of crosses out of southeast Asia, I have not been able to grow the plant with the same vigor here in the US. My mother plant bloomed at a young age, but produced many pups which I can now share. My plant ended up looking a lot more like flabellata since it never got large enough for the leaves to really start to hang. Even if I can't grow it the same way he does, still a very cool plant!
