Origins: Bolivia, Argentina
Bloom: Standard vernicosa bloom; medium length compound inflorescence with blood red bracts that recurve downward slightly and small, white, tripetal flowers. This is a really stunning color combo
Light: Strong indirect light or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary.
I personally am a sucker for anything that holds its color year round, including this one here. Vernicosa has a very stiff and brittle leaf, meaning it should be handled with care. This variety in particular is gorgeous in bloom with the purple foliage and red and white bloom. Cannot handle full sun but needs strong indirect light to hold strong color
