Commonly known as Spanish Moss, usneoides is not in fact a moss but an air plant! This variety has a thinner leaf than other forms so it can dry out quicker than others. Soft to the touch and can grow into quite large clumps (4+ feet tall) over the course of a few years. As a clump gets very dense, make sure it gets plenty of air flow so the center doesn't start to rot from constant exposure to moisture.
