Origins: California grown from seed
Bloom: Light pink to red inflorescence and bracts with pale violet and white flowers
Ideal for: Indoors or Outdoors, better outdoors due to need to a lot of light
Light: Partial to full sun
Water: Spray or dunk every 10 days, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Watch for water getting trapped deep in the lower leaves which can lead to rot. Not recommended to soak tectorum
This variety of tectorum is not as fuzzy as the Ecuadorian and Peruvian forms, I believe that is because they were grown from seed in greenhouses here in California, which has prevented the trichomes from filling in completely. They are now growing in full fun with me, and the trichomes are quickly filling in. I believe these seed grown plants are actually tectorum Ecuador, but I have a policy of selling things as they are tagged when I receive them; these were simply "tectorum"
