Origins: Hybrid created by Steve Correale
Bloom: Long, compound inflorescence with many reddish/pink bracts and purple flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as needed.
Another one of Steve's chiapensis hybrids. The bracts are much fatter than that of Tillandsia Steve, and the plant generally grows a bit larger. Holds a beautiful purple hue in the leaves year round in strong light and grows well mounted or in a potting medium. This hybrid was never officially registered, my particular clone came from Bird Rock Tropicals and Super Steve Pink. It does not appear to be the same plant that Tropiflora sells as T. Super Steve based on the bract structure
