Origins: This specific unregistered cultivar came from Tillandsia International
Bloom: Short, simple inflorescence producing a single pink bract with light purple/blue flowers
Light: Indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, ideally allowing the plant to dry same day. Additionally, soak up to 4 hours as needed, look for leaves rolling inward forming tubes as a sign of underhydration
Stricta is a species with a ton of variety, including leaf shape, plant size, bloom color, and leaf color. Stricta will quickly form clumps, although individual plants grow bigger alone than in a clump which is typically not true of clumps. This variety of stricta is on the smaller side with stiff gray leaves, a pale pink bract and light purple/blue flowers. Maybe my favorite variety of stricta
