Origins: This specific unregistered cultivar came from Tillandsia International

Bloom: Large pink inflorescence with small deep blue/purple flowers

Light: Indirect to strong indirect light

Ideal for: Outdoors

Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, ideally allowing the plant to dry same day.  Additionally, soak up to 4 hours as needed, look for leaves rolling inward forming tubes as a sign of underhydration

Stricta is a species with a ton of variety, including leaf shape, plant size, bloom color, and leaf color.  Stricta will quickly form clumps, although individual plants grow bigger alone than in a clump which is typically not true of clumps.  Stricta typically gets bigger and fuller with each new generation
