Origins: This specific unregistered cultivar came from Tillandsia International
Bloom: One fluffy pink bract that produces purple tri-petaled flowers. Much larger than most stricta blooms and much more pale pink in the bract
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, ideally allowing the plant to dry same day. Additionally, soak up to 4 hours as needed, look for leaves rolling inward forming tubes as a sign of underhydration
This is a larger form of stricta with thicker, wider leaves than standard stricta. Grows very bushy and has one of the larger floral bracts of any stricta variety. I don't typically love stricta, but this is one varietal I am quite fond of.
