Origins: Manmade hybrid
Bloom: This bloom doesn't really resemble either parent, it's more like a capitata bloom. Compound inflorescence with multiple bracts that stay tucked into the floral scape, producing purple tubular flowers. Upper foliage with blush a light pink color
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This hybrid is somewhat of a mystery as the bloom does not resemble the bloom of either parent. The structure of the plant itself does however resemble both parents in many ways. Soft green leaves that curl more than a xerographica but holds the signature rosette shape of xerographica. This is likely a capitata streptophylla hybrid
Plants currently available have a B grade shape - they were growing on their sides so they are slightly recurved. After being grown upright for a while they will retain their beautiful shape
Due to CITES regulations this plant can only ship within the US, not available for international shipping
