Tillandsia butzii hybrid

Origins: Manmade hybrid

Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence with red stem and bracts and purple tubular flowers

Ideal for: Indoors or Outdoors

Light: Strong indirect or filtered light

Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary.  Be sure to thoroughly dry the base of all plants (like this one) with a bulbous base to prevent rot

An unknown hybrid that retains the spotting of butzii on the faces of the leaves.  Base is much more bulbous than true butzii and leaves are slightly stiffer and more wavy than standard butzii
