Origins: Potentially a natural hybrid, registered by Bill Timm who Purchased it from Bird Rock Tropicals
Bloom: Short compound inflorescence with nearly white bracts and pink upper foliage and bract scapes. Produces purple flowers
Light: Strong indirect or bright filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary. If it is soaked, be sure to thoroughly dry the base to avoid issues with core rot
A plant with a somewhat mysterious origin, but wherever it came from, it's pretty awesome! Small and compact with a semi bulbous base, lepidote leaves that are thick and wavy. Spectacular bloom, it is compact but very colorful grown in correct light. Originally sold under the formula streptophylla x paucifolioides; paucifolioides has since been shortened to paucifolia
