Origins: Hybrid created by Pam Koide
Bloom: Intermediate compound inflorescence producing 3-5 pink to yellow bracts and purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary
I really enjoy this hybrid, and it highlights the best features of both parents. The plant overall grows upright and has more of a closed rosette like beutelspacheri but it's very lepidote thanks to chiapensis. The bracts are inflated and lepidote like chiapensis but they produce a beautiful yellow color and there's many of them thanks to beutelscpacheri. I grow this one more like chiapensis in terms of light and because it get's so big, I typically grow it in a pot of bark
