Origins: Central America (precise regions unknown to me)
Bloom: Foliage turns bright red with several purple tubular flowers that protrude from a short inflorescence that barely escapes the top leaves
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
Slightly different than the standard form of brachycaulos, this form will hold a red hue throughout the year with proper light and leaves grow in a slight spiral pattern
