Bloom: Long, compound inflorescence with many deep red waxy bracts and small purple flowers
Light: Strong indirect light or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
Long thought to be a variation of floribunda, this plant achieved and deserves species status. The bloom is much more ornate on this plant than the bloom of floribunda, plus it grows much larger and has a thicker, stiffer, more lepidote leaf. Pretty prolific, before long you'll have more than enough to share
