Origins: Manmade hybrid
Bloom: Short, simple inflorescence that barely exposes itself from the top layer of foliage. Produces purple tubular flowers and the bracts are red/deep pink
Light: Strong indirect, filtered, and/or partial direct light
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is a short and stout species. It almost looks like a giant scaposa with wavy leaves. It has a bulbous base like both parents, and stays small like a pruinosa. I would recommend displaying this plant sideways or upside down to avoid water percolating into that base of the leaves with increases the likelihood of rotting
