Bloom: The leaves will turn deep shades of red and produce purple tubular flowers. Will hold red blush throughout the year with more light
Light: Strong indirect, filtered, and/or partial direct light
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is a small, slightly recurving variety of ionantha from Mexico. It has soft leaves and rapidly forms dense clumps after bloom. As other ionanthas do, this variety will blush year round with strong light and the leaves will all turn red during bloom to attract pollinators
