Origins: Natural mutation
Bloom: In typical ionantha fashion, foliage will blush red to attract pollinators during bloom. Blooming is infrequent in a crested plant, but when it does it produces many offsets like common ionantha varietals
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak for up to 4 hours as necessary to rehydrate during hotter and drier months
This is a truly unique specimen that will be hard to come by again. Cresting is a genetic mutation that causes horizontal growth along the meristem and dense stacking of leaves in what appears to be a braided fashion. This is a well established specimen, you will receive what is in the picture
