Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence with yellow and red bracts and purple tubular flowers
Ideal for: Outdoors
Light: Strong indirect, partial direct, and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is a species that really surprised me; I got my original crop and they were completely green, but grown in strong filtered light, they have colored up so beautifully to the deep purple color you see in the picture. This foliage color combined with the color bracts during bloom make for quite a show
The plant you receive has some color, but will not yet be as colorful as the mature specimen pictured. These are recommended to be potted or mounted but your plant will ship bare root
