Bloom: Long, compound inflorescence with soft purple bracts and deep purple flowers
Light: Strong indirect, filtered, and/or partial direct light
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is a large grower with stiff grey leaves and a really wonderful bloom. This is similar to Tillandsia cereicola, except Tillandsia hitchcockiana pups directly from the base rather than stoloniferously like cereicola. Likes lots of light and needs room to grow
