Origins: Guerrero, Mexico
Bloom: Short, simple inflorescence producing a single pink bract with purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary. Be sure to thoroughly dry base after soaking to avoid rotting
This cute little species is a great addition to any xeric collection. Though it stays relatively small, the plant has thick succulent leaves, preparing it for months of dryness. Easy to care for and a good pupper, also not one you always see around!
