Origins: Columbia, Ecuador, Peru
Bloom: Medium length compound inflorescence with yellow bracts and produces many small yellow flowers
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Ideal for: Outdoors
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is the standard form if disticha which grows the largest of any variety. This variety is also a deeper green and gray color than the brighter green form. Has a bulbous base with wide leaf sheaths at the base of the plant that narrow to a point at the tips which gives it a grassy appearance at the top of the plant. Grows pups off of stolons (stems) from the base of the plant
