Origins: Mexico
Bloom: Upper foliage blushes red and make way for a short red floral bract, similar to scaposa. Produces purple tubular flowers
Ideal for: Outdoors
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak for up to 4 hours as necessary to rehydrate during hotter and drier months
This is a beautiful species that closely resembles a natural cross of scaposa and ionantha. Has thinner, softer leaves than most ionantha varietals, and grows larger than most scaposas. I would recommend good air flow for this species, and not too much direct light during hot parts of the year
