Bloom: Medium length compound inflorescence with several long red bracts and purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary. Be sure to dry the center of the plant completely if you fully submerge it in water to avoid rotting
Beautiful deep red showy bracts, semi-stiff dark green leaves that gently recurve. Plant stays much smaller than flabellata, somewhere between it and concolor. Grows well potted (flabellata parentage) but could also be mounted on wood with some moss around the base and roots
