Origins: Manmade hybrid
Bloom: Short to medium length compound inflorescence with multiple bracts that are red in full sun, but a paler pink color in the shade. Purple flowers
Ideal for: Outdoor
Light: Indirect to strong indirect light, some direct light okay to draw out purple color
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak for up to 4 hours as necessary to rehydrate during hotter and drier months. Be sure water does not get trapped under the leaves for extended periods of time
Caput medusae dominates this hybrid, but juncifolia shows through in the bloom. With humidity and strong filtered light, this plant will be a beautiful purple color (green if in lower light conditions with only purple in the margins)
