Origins: Manmade hybrid
Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence with small bracts that barely escape the bract sheaths. Produces purple flowers, does not blush nearly as much as true brachycaulos
Ideal for: Outdoors
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary. Because it has a bulbous base ensure no water gets trapped under the leaves by providing good air flow
A beautiful hybrid with sparse trichomes like brachycaulos and long recurving leaves that curl over time like streptophylla. Doesn't color up like brachycaulos normally does, but the beautiful leaves curling makes up for it
