Achrostachys grows in many states in Mexico. It is geared for the southern California climate as it is naturally occurring among the cacti and oak forests of semi arid regions. Can tolerate strong indirect and even partial direct light. When in bloom, give it strong light to draw out the beautiful pink accents of the bloomspike
