Origins: Cultivar of latifolia from Lima, Peru
Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence with lepidote red bracts and magenta flowers. Produces pups off of the bloomspike
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
My favorite form of latifolia. It can be found growing in large swaths of the Peruvian desert, growing directly in and on the sand. It has short, thick, wide leaves that have a leathery feel to them. Stays small and compact but not as small as the other cultivars of latifolia v latifolia
