Not technically a registered cultivar of ionantha, both ionantha variegata and ionatha albo-marginata are varietals of ionantha renate which describes variegated ionanthas as a whole. This particular varietal has more variegation in the center with deeper green leaves than albo-marginata which has most of its variegation at the tips.
