Origins: Hybrid created by Pam Koide
Bloom: Long, compound inflorescence with a red peduncle, red sheaths, and green bracts along with purple flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as needed. The base is bulbous so be sure to properly dry the plant after watering to avoid rotting
This hybrid is incredibly unique. It has such a wonderful shape, difficult to compare to any other plant because it is so unique. The base is semi bulbous, the leaves are short, straight, and upright, and even though the leaves are soft, it has a formidable appearance. Produces nice color during bloom. This plant is a newer release from Bird Rock Tropicals; only a few people in the world have it. Get it while you can!
