Origins: Mexico
Bloom: Foliage turns red during bloom and produces several purple flowers from center of plant
Light: Strong indirect, filtered, or partial sun
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is a highly coveted form of ionantha that is similar to ionantha vanhyningii but it is shorter and bushier. It still has those nice, thick, recurving leaves and the patented deep red ionantha bloom.
