Origins: Unregistered hybrid from Rainforest Flora
Bloom: Short simple or compound inflorescence producing red bracts that emerge directly from the center of the plant. Upper foliage turns red during bloom. Purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect light and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry between waterings. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary. Be sure to dry the center of the plant completely if you fully submerge it in water to avoid rotting
There are several crosses of this parentage and the reverse (Joel, Luke, Derek, etc). Very similar to Joel which also came from RFI, but I would say Leo J has a more sparse leaf pattern like bulbosa, and for me it has grown larger with a more bulbous base than my Joels. Tends to hold more red outside of bloom when grown in strong light
