Origins: A natural hybrid described by Dennis Cathcart near Oaxaca, Mexico

Bloom: Upper foliage turns red and a short, compound, red inflorescence produces purple tubular flowers

Light: Strong indirect, partial direct, and/or filtered light

Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary

This natural hybrid has the same parentage as Nidus, another natural hybrid. This plant is different in a few ways. The leaves have a brighter green color, and they are longer, thinner, and recurved. A slight blush can be achieved throughout the year in strong light, and produces vibrant red color during bloom. This plant doesn’t seem to be as aggressively caulescent as Nidus but can still grow long if kept out of bloom
