Bloom: Short simple inflorescence with a deep purple lepidote bract and blue/purple flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
A xeric species that prefers dry conditions. A smaller, more compact form of cardenasii that is more open than the major form which is more upright. Grows in tight compact clumps
