Origins: Created by Chris Davis, cross officially registered as Tillandsia Nugget
Bloom: Short, sometimes compound inflorescence with dark but faint purple bracts and large orange flowers. Very fragrant
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to an hour as necessary
Chris Davis recreated a classic hybrid, one of my favorites. It got some of the best traits from both parents. As it matures, the leaves start to curl at the tips like duratii, but the flowers are bright orange and sweet like crocata. This is a really special plant, not easy to come by
