Origins: Luis Ariza hybrid
Bloom: Short compound inflorescence with several short red and yellow bracts and purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary
This cross and the reverse have been made many times, it even appears as a natural hybrid (T. x Nidus). This particular plant has leaves that are much more glaborous than the aforementioned x Nidus, and stays a little more closed and upright. As do many ionantha hybrids, this cross produces beautiful color during bloom to attract pollinators
