Origins: Hybrid created by Pam Koide
Bloom: Long, compound inflorescence with many pale red/salmon colored bracts and purple flowers. This bloom can exceed 3 ft tall, it's quite impressive!
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay during cooler months
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary. Be sure to thoroughly dry center and base of plant after soaking to avoid rotting
This is another signature hybrid from Pam Koide, and it's a real beast of a plant! It has a semi bulbous base and long semi-erect leaves that curve towards the tips. The leaves are gray and lepidote and it's semi-caulescent so it can grow long/tall. The bloom can exceed 3 feet from the leaf tips, making it one you can see from across the garden. Because it is so heavy, it is best to grow in a pot of bark to support the weight
