Origins: Argentina, Bolivia
Bloom: Long, simple inflorescence with purple in the margins of the bracts, giving way to large purple fragrant flowers that have a splash of white at the center of the petals
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
In the same complex as duratii, arhiza, and streptocarpa, this is a fragrant species with short, wavy, recurving leaves and beautiful purple flowers. The clumps I have available are currently producing multiple bloom spikes, meaning it will be quite a show when it finally blooms. Pretty hard and easy to care for, although it is pretty slow growing
