One of the hardiest and most unique tillandsia. Duratii can get huge, and the inflorescence is normally twice as long as the plant. Very fragrant flowers. The leaves on this plant recurve as they mature because they get heavy, and the recurving leaves naturally wrap around tree branches they are attached to acting like roots. This variety of duratii has a thicker leaf than other forms currently available on the market
