Origins: Manmade hybrid
Bloom: Short compound inflorescence with multiple red bracts and purple tubular flowers.
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary and ensure quick drying; avoid water getting trapped in the leaves
This is a wonderful hybrid that at first glance looks like a giant caput-medusae. This hybrid is much curlier than a standard caput, thanks to the streptophylla parentage. Will be curlier when it is drier, helping to let you know when it needs water.
