Origins: Ecuador, Peru
Bloom: Long, pendulate, compound yellow inflorescence with yellow flowers
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Ideal for: Outdoors
Water: Spray leaves twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. As it is best potted, increasing the number of times you water is better than removing from soil to soak if you feel it's drying out
This is a species with a remarkable bloom that grows best terrestrially. Can get quite large over time and likes strong filtered or indirect light with good air flow. Definitely a collector's item and a species that doesn't come available often
This is the gray form, which generally has thicker, shorter leaves than the green form. Bloom is nearly identical
I currently have them potted, but these will ship bare root
