Bloom: Medium length compound inflorescence with red/salmon bract scapes and yellow bracts, producing pale purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light, some direct light okay
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is an easy to care for species from Mexico that produces a nice bloom; the contrast of the red/salmon scapes and the yellow bracts make it a hummingbird's delight. This plant has a beautiful shape when grown upright
