While Curly Slim is Mark Dimmitt's most famous hybrid, I would argue that this plant is the crown jewel of his work.  Not too many tectorum crosses out there, partly because of how challenging it is to collect pollen/pollinate these small flowers.  Duratii is also an interesting plant in crosses, because many times it has trouble completing its bloom and aborts.  This plant does have a cool bloom, but the growth habit and appearance of this plant are really what draws you in.  Grows long like a latifolia.  This is another plant that's only for serious collectors, as the price indicates!
