Bloom: Crested tillandsias typically do not produce a bloom. If a crested ionantha reverts and starts producing normal pups, it will bloom like a typical ionantha
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as needed. Crested plants have tight leaf margins that can trap water so proper drying is necessary to avoid rot
This is a highly sought after mutant! Cresting is a naturally occurring mutation in which a plant starts growing along the meristem.
