Origins: Bolivia

Bloom: Short, simple inflorescence with vibrant red floral bract and red flowers.  This is a very rare color combo and quite attractive

Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors

Light: Strong indirect or filtered light

Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 1 hour as necessary

 

Edithae is a real treasure.  It has short leaves densely covered in trichomes, and grows caulescently as it starts to clump.  Likes good air flow and prefers cooler temperatures as it grows at a high altitude.  This is a smaller, more compact form of edithae with densely stacked leaves, a very attractive plant

 

Now that I've had these a few years, I have noticed it is quite difficult to keep the leaf stacking as dense as it was when imported.  Even in full fun, I can't get the leaves to stack quite as densely, so they basically just look like a gray/silver form of edithae, not so much a dwarf
