Origins: Hybrid created by Paul Isley
Bloom: Short simple or compound inflorescence with a single or a few red bracts that barely escape the leaf tips and purple tubular flowers. Upper foliage produces a light blush during bloom
Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This is a cute and compact hybrid that mostly leans towards ionantha in appearance. Thin at the base, and the leaves open up to a nice rosette. Reaches maturity at about 8” so stays pretty compact
