Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
Acostae is actually an outdated name for this species; in 1994 it was reclassified as T. rhomboidea because the two were essentially identical. This happens sometimes with tillandsia during reclassification, old names tend to stick around well beyond the change. Anyways, this species has a very colorful bloom and long, dense, deep green leaves
