Origins: Steve Correale hybrid
Bloom: Large compound inflorescence with green lepidote bracts and red/orange sheaths, producing purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 2 hours as necessary. Be sure to thoroughly dry base after soaking to avoid rotting
Another great Correale hybrid. This one is interesting because so often, when capitata is involved (Fire Orange is a cv of capitata), the bloom is stunted by the capitate nature of capitatas. This one however is an exception, with many bracts emerging from the sheaths, putting on quite a show. A mature plant has a really beautiful large open rosette and leaves that recurve and curl
