Origins: Manmade hybrid
Bloom: Long, compound inflorescence with red and orange bracts (bracts will stay green if not getting enough light). Produces purple tubular flowers
Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary
This hybrid produces long, tapered leaves that recurve over time. This is a species that will grow better and have a better shape if it's potted in bark or moss or mounted in moss on a piece of wood.
