Origins: Hybrid from Tillandsia International
Bloom: Capitate inflorescence that produces nice salmon colored foliage, bracts that barely emerge from scapes, and purple tubular flowers
Light: Strong indirect or filtered light
Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary. Be sure to thoroughly dry if fully submerged to avoid rot
This hybrid came from TI and it is like a Curly Slim with softer, thinner leaves than. Leaves curl tightly as plant dries out, making it an excellent moisture meter. The Twisted Tim parentage abbreviates the bracts, but it makes up for it by adding a really nice blush during bloom. If grown in too much light it will bloom early (not an encouragement but a warning!)
