These plants have been bought and sold in the US for a while now as Tillandsia fuchsii especial and Tillandsia fuchsii v Alemana. Only recently was it confirmed to be Tillandsia argentea, a species from Cuba that has been cultivated in Germany for some time. It resembles T. fuchsii in many ways. In fact, Tillandsia fuchsii v gracilis was regularly labeled as T. argentea back in the day, and you can still find the names conflated across the internet.  Shape is similar to atroviridipetala or plumosa with much shorter trichomes, so it doesn't appear fuzzy. Because it’s from Cuba, it likes it hot and humid so keep that in mind during your winters and summers
